ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Implement a sales action plan for the development of Group and Banquet growth in all market segments.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Establish and maintain visibility of NOPSI Hotel New Orleans with industry accounts.
- Participation in weekly owner’s call, if needed.
- Participation in monthly forecasting and month end recaps.
- Actively prospect new business and secure repeat business.
- Conduct site experiences and entertain potential and existing clients.
- Develop strong working relationships with hotel department heads and operational areas.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports of sales calls and marketing actions as requested by Director of Sales.
- Prepare rooms only resumes to share with all hotel departments.
- Welcome contact upon arrival at function and ensure guest
- Travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel and review competition.
- Attend networking functions and trade shows as needed to promote the hotel.
- Respect guidelines of confidentiality and code of ethics in all company areas.
- Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times
