Job brief:

As an Integration Manager at The Weather Company, you will help lead diverse and defined programs where Ad Operations is a key stakeholder, such as ad systems technology integrations and configurations, order management system and ad server processes and support, programmatic ad operations, partner management, etc. This role is a member of the Ad Ops Program Management team (PMAO), which sits within the Ad Ops Solutions & Integrations group and is responsible for coordinating projects and contributing to initiatives requiring testing, input, quality assurance, resources, and representation from Ad Operations.

The impact you'll make:
  • Manage projects within the Ad Operations department: creating comprehensive project plans, identifying owners, operating with deadlines, surfacing dependencies and risks, and communicating to key stakeholders effectively. Apply agile practices when needing to scope work, communicate progress, and prioritize efforts.
  • Build positive relationships and trust to motivate team members and improve decision-making by aligning projects with business goals and strategy.
  • Identify and resolve issues with ad technology, platform, system, and creative integrations. Work closely with Ad Ops, Creative Lab, Offering Management, Data Sales, Ad Product, and Ad Technology teams to make solutions as effective as possible for clients. Maintain relationships with internal and external teams to curate support for these offerings.
  • Contribute to the Program Management and Programmatic Ad Operations Teams with technical troubleshooting support on campaign delivery, creative implementation, performance, partner and vendor integrations, reporting and ad server scheduling.
  • Design Ad Platform workflows to be configured in Salesforce and our Order Management System that are intended to improve quality assurance and increase operational efficiency.
  • Perform platform configuration and customization in Ad Ops Systems including Google Ad Manager, and Salesforce among other proprietary platforms.
  • Collaborate with Program Management team members to facilitate User Acceptance Testing of Order Management System releases with a keen eye on quality assurance.
  • Proactively monitor platform and system integration performance and troubleshoot issues around billing errors, fraud, etc. You will surface the issues and work to make and/or recommend changes where needed and reach a resolution.
  • Comprehend impacts of new and existing ad features to smoothly operationalize and mitigate risks to ad products and platforms internal teams use.
  • Process System Configuration changes and System Administration requests for areas such as user administration, client activations, and other Data Sales operations.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for operational efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in existing and potential programs where Ad Operations is a contributor, then collaborate with internal teams to complete the updates.
  • Become a subject matter expert of Ad Ops processes, policies, systems, and controls -including the ad server, order management system, and all integrated systems and tools-to fully comprehend a program's impact to the department and its downstream effects, as well as to address risk management issues across entire campaign management processes.
  • Provide any necessary analytical and reporting support for managed programs, offerings, and ad products, which flow through Ad Operations systems and tools.
  • Develop any necessary documentation for internal teams as new processes are rolled out and processes are updated.
  • Be a liaison to external teams by providing streamlined communication and provide a subject matter expertise point-of-contact destination for these teams.
What you've accomplished:
  • 5+ years within the Digital Advertising Industry with an in-depth knowledge of Ad Operations Systems (Ad Servers, DSPs, and Ad Troubleshooting, Debugging tools, and OMS), Ad Technology Integrations, and Operational Workflow.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, project management skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills, solution-oriented attitude, and relationship building. High level of analytical and creative problem-solving, questioning, and feedback skills.
  • Must be customer service oriented and have a commitment to quality.
  • Proven ability to translate requirements and bugs to Ad Technology teams and Developers

  • Experience with Salesforce.com Administration or related CRM Platforms.
  • Salesforce Administration Certification or related Salesforce certification is a plus.
