Job Description:

Our banking client is seeking a Senior Vulnerability Analyst to join their team. This role requires expertise in vulnerability tracking, management, and remediation, along with strong business systems analysis skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with technical teams to track and remediate vulnerabilities, categorizing and interpreting vulnerabilities, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) in vulnerability tracking and remediation.

- Coordinate with technical teams to gather and share vulnerability information.

- Categorize and interpret vulnerabilities to prioritize remediation efforts.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, to provide vulnerability reports and insights.

- Utilize prior vulnerability management experience to effectively synthesize vulnerability data.

- Plan and execute remediation efforts in coordination with technical teams.

- Keep the CIO informed about the status of vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.

- Assist in performing business intelligence analysis on vulnerability data.

- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate progress toward vulnerability remediation to the Executive Leadership Team).

Additional Responsibilities:

- Apply business systems analysis skills to assess the impact of vulnerabilities on business processes and systems, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and priorities.

- Collaborate with teams to integrate vulnerability management processes into broader systems analysis frameworks, facilitating a holistic approach to risk management.

- Leverage BSA expertise to identify and recommend process improvements for vulnerability tracking, management, and remediation, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Minimum of [X] years of experience in vulnerability management and business systems analysis.

- Strong understanding of vulnerability tracking tools and methodologies.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and senior management.

- Ability to analyze and interpret complex vulnerability data.

- Prior experience in storytelling with vulnerability data preferred.

- Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) are a plus.

- Familiarity with banking industry regulations and compliance standards is desirable.
