Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Pulmonology team at Central Miane Medical Cetner The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases according to physician orders and protocols approved by the CMMC Medical Director for Respiratory Care. These clinical services include, but are not limited to: pulmonary function testing, methacholine challenge, cardiopulmonary stress testing, biologic injection, arterial blood gas, and assist physician with procedures as needed.Regulatory Requirements:• Current Respiratory Therapist Licensure of the State of Maine.• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.• Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification required.• A minimum of one year respiratory care is preferred. Work toward becoming a Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist or Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist within 2 years.
