Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases.
Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatment for patients with cardiopulmonary diseases.
- Administer oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, aerosol and nebulizer therapies, chest physical therapy, arterial blood gas sampling, ventilator management, indirect calorimetry assessments, bronchoscopy assistance, and electrocardiograms.
- Support all members of the patient care team in developing and implementing comprehensive care plans.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A graduate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
- A current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Maine.
- A minimum of one year of experience in respiratory care.
- Neonatal Resuscitation certification (preferred).
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including:
- A starting hourly rate of $32.50, increasing with experience.
- A $15,000 sign-on bonus (internal candidates are not eligible).
