GENERAL SUMMARY

The Cart Driver is responsible for supporting various departments with transporting guests and valet drivers to and from parking lots/Valet Pits safely, performing vehicle detailing services, assisting with events and promotional setups and other projects as needed.

CORE SCOPE OF POSITION

  • Drives cart to and from parking lots/entrances transporting guests in a safe manner.
  • Drives cart to transport valet staff between the valet parking lots and the overflow valet parking lots in a safe manner.
  • Ensures cart is clean, maintained and functioning properly, reports problems to supervisor/manager.
  • Operates two-way radio to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
  • Maintains radio contacts throughout shift by setting to correct channel.
  • Ensure battery is charged and functioning properly.
  • Performs vehicle detailing service as needed.
  • Assists Maintenance with events and promotional setups.
  • Partners with and assists other team members to promote an environment of teamwork in order to achieve common goals.
  • Maintains traffic control to ensure that fire lanes are kept clear when needed.
  • Maintains knowledge of all parking lot entrances and exits.
  • Maintains and organizes work area.
  • Attends staff meeting for update on ongoing Enterprise activities and promotions.
  • Notifies Security of any guest reports of theft.
  • Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services and players’ club program.
  • Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
  • Adheres to all hygiene and safety standards. Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Follows all California Vehicle law and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Required Experience

** EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION**

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • CA driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Must be 21 years or older.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1 year of driving experience.
  • Guest service experience.
