Certified Paralegal

Large Midland Legal firm seeking a Certified Paralegal on a temp to hire basis. This role will be responsible for supporting attorneys for the firm, specifically in Estate Planning and Probate.

Job Duties:

• Assist Attorney by drafting Estate Planning Documents for Attorney review
• Assist Attorney by drafting Probate documents and filing with County Clerk's office
• Assist Attorney by contacting Oil Companies, Tax Offices, Newspapers etc. to fulfill items needed for Probate proceedings
• Great understanding of the Estate Planning & Probate procedures and/or willing to learn the processes, definition of terms and understanding of such
• Handling client files for attorneys by working with Legal Assistant to get tasks done
• Occasional work for other attorneys in the office in other areas of law, if needed (occasional)
• Recording and entering billable time for work done
• Must have excellent communication skills.to relate to attorneys, legal assistant and clients
• Communicate and scheduling with County Clerks and Clients as needed
• Excellent computer skills: Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Salary:

• $55K to 65K/year
