The role is tasked with guiding the creation, market launch, and continual development of a product based on customer needs and company goals. The primary aim is to align the product’s directly with the business’s long-term strategy, ensuring it delivers value and achieve market success. This involves setting the vision, defining the roadmap, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure the product meets market needs and remains competitive, with responsibilities extending to pivotal decision-making about the product’s features, usability, and enhancements. Organizational and communication skills are essential to success in this role, which will coordinate frequently with other teams at Quad/Rise and interact with Quad’s (Rise) customers regularly. A solid background in Product Management and/or related field in software development. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with Client Technology team’s solutions architects on the direction and strategy for software platforms Collect and analyze feedback from customers and other team members to shape roadmap and features Define requirements and set priorities for development teams, including participation in Agile ceremonies Work with developers to ensure that deadlines are met, and quality is excellent Align project goals with the product strategy, make key decisions, and oversee its execution Assist with the discovery process at Quad customers Write statements of work and reviewing contracts Implement software platforms with customers Support platforms after implementation Coordinate other Quad teams who serve the same customers Ability to perform software demos to technical staff or end users/clients Able to apply knowledge and understanding of advanced technical solutioning to assist/lead team in planning and developing solutions Understanding of database concepts, data analysis/modeling, requirement gathering, system configuration, test case creation and execution Oversee the design process for a project and ensure designs meet specifications Create documentation including process maps, requirements, user stories, workflow diagrams and end-user materials Monitor product production budgets and hours, and ensure efficiency Implement software platforms with customers, communicate and gather feedback on prototypes or completed products Coordinate product needs with business analysts to ensure consistency and productivity Document product errors or setbacks Job Requirements Education: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience working with software/IT as a Product Manager/Owner and BA Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Background in software development environment preferred Focus on customer satisfaction Critical thinking and leadership skills Analytical and research skills Project management skills and business acumen Ability to quickly learn/master software systems Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation (demos) skills Proven track record of initiating and maintaining relationships within all levels of a complex organization Ability to build rapport and grow relationship with business partners, colleagues, and subject matter experts Timely delivery of assigned tasks Proactive in learning team and department standards Open to giving and receiving peer/team feedback Experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio/Draw IO preferred Microsoft SQL Server and/or Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus Experience in Cloud Service Providers (Azure, AWS) preferred Some travel could be required up to 10% of time to company offices or other.
