Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and skilled MRI Technologist (MRI Tech) to join our imaging department. The ideal candidate will be proficient in performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety, and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and optimal imaging results.
- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and optimal patient care.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including MRI safety, radiation safety, and infection control measures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot MRI equipment as needed.
- Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI required.
- Valid state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of MRI procedures and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
