Job Title: Assembler Job Description We are seeking a meticulous Motor Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling very small motors that weigh roughly 1 pound each. The position involves repetitive tasks and requires a high level of attention to detail. While J-Standard certification is a plus, it is not required. Responsibilities Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools. Follow manufacturing test procedures and implement continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process. Perform electronic and/or mechanical assembly tasks, read schematics and mechanical drawings, and operate production tooling and fixtures. Place parts in specified relationships to each other for sub-assemblies or final assemblies by soldering, using clips, screws, or other fastening methods as per blueprints or schematics. Solder, hand braze, or induction braze as required. Rotate to different workstations based on production needs and assist in packing products into individual boxes and cases, placing them on skids. Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials. Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts. Clean equipment and work areas and perform daily and weekly safety checks of equipment. Essential Skills Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly. Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings. Experience with machine tool operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the duration of the shift, bend, twist, and reach. Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English. Additional Skills & Qualifications J-Standard certification is a plus but not required. Soldering skills are an advantage. Why Work Here?
