Job Title: Assembler Division: Assembly Department: 110 Reports To: Assembly Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: Responsible for assembling products in accordance with established company standards by performing the following duties. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assembles assigned products in accordance with work instructions, while adhering to productivity and quality standards.* Performs spot checks on products to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.* Notifies management of product discrepancies or equipment malfuctions.* Adheres to established company policies and procedures, paying special attention to safety regulations.* Wears personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.* Maintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.* Adheres to the minimum ISO 9001 procedures.* Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Equipment: Pallet jack Power screw driver Hand tools Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities: Manual dexterity for small part assembly Ability to read and understand written work instructions Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
