Our medical device client in Fairfield County, CT is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team The Assembly Technician is responsible for performing assembly, testing, and packaging in a cleanroom environment.

Shift: 3:45 pm-12:15 am (Mon-Fri)

Pay: $17.85/hr

Type: Contract

Responsibilities

  • Work both independently and collaboratively within a team to manually assemble sub-assemblies and final products.

  • Construct complex assemblies based on approved method sheets.

  • Conduct mechanical and electrical testing on completed sub-assemblies and final products to ensure they meet product specifications.

  • Carry out various assembly tasks within one or more factory work cells.

  • Maintain a tidy work area and assist with daily cleaning tasks as needed.

  • Adhere to written Method Sheet instructions for assembling a variety of products.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manual assembly on an assembly line is required.

  • Skilled in assembling small components using a microscope or magnification tools.

  • Soldering experience is a plus.

  • Experience in medical device assembly is a plus.

  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions (in English).
