Description: You will be the Cyber Systems Security Engineer for the Lexington, KY area and must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance. What You Will Be Doing As the Cyber Systems Security Engineer embedded with a SOF GLSS Program Team; you will work as part of the Cybersecurity team and must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include: • Responsible for applying an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, validate, and verify Cyber solutions across the lifecycle. • Conduct cyber risk assessment activities including threat modeling, vulnerability analysis and analysis of mitigation solutions. • Coordinate and address Supply Chain risk management concerns. • Coordinate with Cyber and system architects and developers to provide oversight in the development of solutions. • Conduct cybersecurity test and evaluation of hardware and/or software designs to verify and validate compliance with defined specifications and requirements. • Employ cyber security processes, methods, techniques, and tools and assure their consistent application. • Implement appropriate Assessment and Authorization activities as required by customers. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start. #mfcnews Basic Qualifications: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks - Effective oral and written communication skills - Cyber Security certification and accreditation experience, previous assignments in evaluating / documenting compliance with associated standards/specifications - Experience with incorporating STIGS, assessing systems for compliance, establishment of security controls, POA&M and mitigation efforts supporting the development and approval of C&A packages - Ability to obtain DOD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Sec + CE) within 6-months -Host and Network security tools, including eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, and Core Impact Desired Skills: Desired skills : The ideal candidate will have experience in: - DOD policy and procedures -Host and Network security tools, including eMASS, ACAS, HBSS, Splunk, and Core Impact -Zero Trust concept / experience - Ability to break down complex issues into understandable components and communicate at the appropriate level for the target audience - Ability to communicate at multiple levels both orally and in writing, internally and externally Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
