Description of Position(s):

As a Pharmacy Technician at AmeriPharma, we have various positions available ranging from customer service, data entry, billing, and traditional pharmacy technician duties. Placement options will be discussed during an in-person interview.

Schedule Details
  • In-Person (Laguna Hills, CA)
  • 8 hour shift/40 hours a week within hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am-6:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am-4:00pm
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications.
  • Accurately process and fill prescriptions efficiently.
  • Verify prescription information and dosage.
  • Manage inventory, including restocking and ordering supplies.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Provide excellent service to patients, ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain patient records and uphold confidentiality standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and pharmacy operations.
  • Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas.
  • Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Clear Pharmacy Technician License
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform task accurately and efficiently
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Positive and optimistic
  • Attentive and detailed
  • Must have open availability and willing to work weekends
Preferred Experience:
  • 2+ years' experience working in a Pharmacy (entry level candidates welcome)
