We have an exciting opportunity for a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join our dedicated team at Hickory Network. As a BHT, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to clients in our care. This fulfilling position offers the chance to work in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the well-being of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist mental health professionals in providing direct care to individuals with mental health conditions.
  • Follow treatment plans and protocols developed by the clinical team.
  • Monitor and document patients' behavior and progress
  • Help individuals develop coping skills and implement interventions as directed.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their treatment.
  • Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients through observation and appropriate interventions.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Additional duties as directed by the BHT Manager.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience working in a mental health or healthcare setting is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport and build relationships with patients.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to effectively handle challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $15-18/ hour
