Job Title: Multi-Site Leasing Consultant
Location: Portland, OR
Salary: $20 - $23 / Hourly
GENERAL RESPONSIBILIES:
As a Leasing Consultant, Employee will be responsible for a variety of duties, as directed by Company, including, but not limited to:
- Represent the Atlas brand, missions, and goals in a professional and positive manor at all times.
- Provide superior customer service and communication to prospective residents, residents, and third-party vendors, in order to increase clients and Atlas' profitability, while always maintaining a positive reputation and Atlas's brand, mission and goals.
- Maintain constant communication with direct supervisor(s) and when applicable Atlas leadership, which may require regular phone calls, emails or in person meetings.
- Be available for direct supervisor and Atlas employees by phone and email.
- Conduct prospective resident property tours, in accordance with Fair Housing and Atlas's policies and procedures.
- Responds to resident concerns and issues. Seeks support from Manager(s) regarding escalated resident concerns and issues.
- Ensure the accuracy of personal hours recorded, if applicable, those of the team, and review, approve and troubleshoot employee timecards, absences, and PTO requests.
- Adhere to and maintain current knowledge regarding Oregon and/or Washington landlord tenant law, state and federal fair housing laws, demonstrated understanding and knowledge of rental agreements, addendums and all other necessary contracts, and the ability to explain to all applicable parties.
- Assist in audits of property files in Dropbox and AppFolio.
- Document and report accidents, emergency situations and property damage to direct supervisor, and when applicable the corporate office.
- Attend all training and development curriculums assigned by Atlas.
- Promote harmonious relations among residents, employees, owners, and local community.
- Always maintain a pleasant helpful demeanor.
- Always maintain neat and legible records in AppFolio and Dropbox; including but not limited to resident documentation, property guides, property contracts, vendor proposals, marketing materials, Atlas weekly and monthly trackers
- Assist with property inspections.
- Assist with maintaining updated marketing of all properties to ensure quality, accuracy and maintain competitive position within market.
- All other duties as assigned by Atlas Management for the benefit of the team and the company.
- Check schedule for upcoming appointments.
- Check voicemails and return calls (same day preference, no later than 24 hours)
- Check emails and return emails (same day preference, no later than 24 hours)
- Generate leases for upcoming move-ins and renewals.
- Assist with inspecting parking lots and garages for any vehicles in violation of parking agreement.
- Assist with reporting illegal dumping, camping, and abandoned vehicles (if in Portland, you can use PDXreporter.org)
- If onsite, assist with conducting daily property walks to ensure cleanliness of tour path (ie: leasing office, model home, vacancies, and all other amenity spaces. Pay special attention to cleanliness of lights, blinds, and smells.
- If onsite, assist with conducting property visits to ensure a high level of curb appeal by determining, implementing, and following up on any corrective action plans for deficiencies found at property.
- Post and refresh all marketing advertisements.
- Email Community Manager daily notes.

- Attend monthly team meetings, to team build, motivate, review, overcome challenges, answer questions, and relay pertinent company information.
- Assist with updating monthly market survey(s) for all properties to ensure quality and accuracy and maintain competitive position within market.
- Assist with creating notices to present to portfolio manager for review; post/mail approved notices and lease renewals with certificates of mailing. Notices and certificates of mailing should be scanned together and saved in AppFolio and Dropbox.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required)
- Valid Oregon Driver's License, vehicle insurance and a clean driving record (required)
- Reliable transportation (required)
- 1+ Year Multi-Family Property Management Leasing Experience (required)
- Multi-site Leasing Experience (preferred)
- Portland Leasing Experience (preferred)
- OR Fair Housing Knowledge (required)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (required)
- AppFolio experience (preferred)
- Tenant Tech experience (preferred)
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Highly organized working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Desire to learn and grow with our company
- Willingness to commute between properties daily for touring purposes
