Elevate is looking for a Product Specialist/Cost Accountant to join the Cost Accounting Department, primarily supporting the A&E brand. This position is based in Mount Holly, NC (outside Charlotte).

Job Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain new color records in JDE as needed by field offices and/or customer service.
  • Process inventory adjustments as needed (add backs, samples, etc.).
  • Work within A&E Web Sites to search, create & maintain color numbering system.
  • Shade Match System
  • IBM Color Database
  • Work within A&E Web Sites to create new catalogs as requested by Global Planning (GSCO).
  • Catalog Tracking System
  • Interact with other key departments, i.e., Customer Service, Sales, Global Supply Chain Operations, Manufacturing & I.S.
  • Assist cost accountant with various tasks.
  • Assist with year-end as needed by Cost Department.
  • Perform any other duties required by the department.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree in accounting or business.
  • Relevant product specification work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of A&E products and manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Familiar with JDE System or other large ERP’s
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good Excel skills
  • Experience with databases and data warehouses helpful.
  • Ability to work independently & manage multitask responsibilities.
