Large Non-profit seeking experienced BC Hospice and Palliative Care physician for Coastal hospital in South Carolina Health System is seeking to hire an experienced BC Hospice and Palliative Care physician to grow our South Carolina Coastal hospice program in N. Myrtle Beach, SC. Our hospitals are growing Hospice and Palliative Care programs. The Health System has a long-established Hospice Program in Florence, SC and is looking to grow and expand the hospice and palliative care services in hospitals located in N. Myrtle Beach, SC. The Health System is looking for a BC physician with an interest in growing and leading hospice and palliative care programs. This position currently is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with no weekend rounding. There is an established Hospice office on site with an administrator, NP, nurses, nurse aides and social workers. We are seeking to hire a physician to join and start the expansion of hospice and palliative care at this South Carolina coastal location. The hospitals have full hospitalist and intensivist physician programs. This position is employed with the Health System - with paid malpractice, CME allowance, base salary plus RVU bonus, Sign On bonus, relocation allowance, paid time off and excellent retirement and health benefits. We have also expanded with physician practices, outpatient services and a free-standing emergency department. Florence is a city in and the county seat of Florence County, South Carolina, United States. It lies at the intersection of Interstates 20 and 95 and is the eastern terminus of the former. It is the primary city within the Florence metropolitan area. The area forms the core of the historical "Pee Dee" region of South Carolina, which includes the eight counties of northeastern South Carolina, along with sections of southeastern North Carolina. Everywhere visitors go in the Pee Dee, they are greeted by pristine natural areas with creeks full of fish and landscapes ripe for exploration. Little Pee Dee State Park is a favorite for hiking, camping, picnicking and fishing. Lee State Park offers kayaking and canoeing on the Lynches River and features five artesian wells that bring crystal-clear water to the surface. Woods Bay State Natural Area is known for its Carolina Bay, an elliptical depression found along the Atlantic Coast. The diverse habitat ranges from forest to marsh and attracts wildlife from birds to gators. For visitors who prefer their outdoor time to include golf carts and a clubhouse, find many bucket-list golf courses in the Pee Dee. Carolina Forrest Area - You don't need to go far to find great shopping, Outlet Malls and city . You can also find several golf courses and recreation centers here, along with a beautiful concentration of pine trees and hardwood forests. Nearly half of the 25-square-mile area has been set aside for conservation. Near the Carolina Forest area, you ll also find Wheels of Yesteryear and Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament Myrtle Beach Area - The hub of the Grand Strand, Myrtle Beach is known for its 60-mile string of beaches.
