Job Title: Web Software Developer

Location: Huntsville, AL

Required Clearance: Secret

Certifications: Security+; Must be able to obtain PL-400: Microsoft Power Platform Developer; PL-600: Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect Expert; PL-500.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another related field.

Required Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in SharePoint development, including front-end and client-side development.

Position Description:

PingWind is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior SharePoint Developer who specializes in integrating the MS Power Apps platform with SPO. This role involves providing advanced front-end web development services, implementing the full range of the Software Development Life Cycle within the SharePoint environment, and contributing to workflow automation.

Primary Responsibilities:

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Proven experience in integrating MS Power Apps with SharePoint Online; Proficiency in SharePoint objects utilizing CSOM, JSOM, and REST APIs.

• Expertise in client-side development using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, SharePoint Web Services, AJAX, SPFx, Node.js, etc.

• Proficiency in using IDEs for SharePoint customizations, especially Microsoft Power Platform and SPFx. Knowledge of XML, XSL, XSLT, CAML in SharePoint platforms

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based applications using modern programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

• Build scalable and secure backend services and APIs using server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, or .NET.

• Design and implement database schemas, queries, and data models. Integrate backend services with databases using SQL or NoSQL technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Firebase.

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to enable communication between frontend and backend systems. Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.

• Implement security best practices to protect web applications from common vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, SQL injection, and authentication/authorization flaws. Implement encryption, authentication mechanisms, and secure communication protocols as needed.

• Use version control systems such as Git to manage code repositories and collaborate with team members. Deploy web applications to production environments using CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
