Job Details:

Title: CT Technologist (on-site)

Length of Engagement: Contingency | Open

Location: Marlton, NJ

  • Performing CT scans: Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. These scans help doctors visualize structures inside the body in detail.
  • Patient Positioning: Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies. Proper positioning ensures accurate and clear images.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain scanning equipment to ensure it works properly. Regular maintenance helps prolong the life of X-ray tubes and ensures reliable performance.
  • Patient Care: Guide patients through the scanning process, explaining the procedure and helping them remain calm during the exam.
  • Image Evaluation: Evaluate the resulting images closely to ensure clarity and accuracy.
  • Additional Diagnostic Tests: Perform ultrasounds, X-rays, mammograms, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Interpreting Physician Instructions: Review and interpret physician instructions for radiologic scans, ensuring that the correct procedures are followed.
  • Collecting Patient Information: Collect relevant medical histories from patients, which helps inform the scanning process.
  • Maintaining Records: Update and maintain patients' medical records, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret images and contribute to patient care.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Hours for all shifts are 4p-12a
  • Schedule Week 1- Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri
  • Schedule Week 2- Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat
  • No floating
  • No on call
  • Every other holiday
  • Primarily ED patients

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • 1-3 yrs of recent experience
  • NJ X-Ray License, ASRT required.
