CT Scan Technologist

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for patient populations according to protocols established by radiologists.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, taking appropriate actions when service calls are required.
- Provide thorough and accurate documentation, obtaining pertinent medical information prior to procedures and reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
- Administer IV contrast safely and effectively, prep patients according to established protocols, and assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures.
- Provide emergency on-call services and assist in training new CT scan technologists.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) and N.J. DEP licensure required.
- Advanced level ARRT certification in CT Scan preferred.
