CT Scan Technologist

Job Summary:

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan Technologist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scan examinations in accordance with established protocols, procedures, and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Consistently perform high-quality CT scan studies for our patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge and utilization of all CT scan equipment and film, and take appropriate actions when service calls are required.
• Provide thorough and accurate documentation, including obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure, reviewing and verifying physician's orders.
• Provide safe and effective IV contrast administration, including IV catheter insertion, and prep patients according to established protocols.
• Assist physicians during interventional CT scan procedures and provide emergency on-call services where indicated.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year in CT preferred.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certification with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
• N.J. DEP licensure required.
• Advanced level ARRT certification in CT Scan preferred.
