PAY RANGE13: $18.54 - $19.64 hourly (based on education and experience)
SCHEDULE: 260 Days/8 hours per day
REPORTS TO: Director of Food & Nutrition Services
Benefits eligible: This position is eligible for employee level medical coverage, dental, and vision as well as personal and sick days.
SUMMARY: Manages the Claim Reimbursement process for the Federal free lunch program and specifies
and procures required food service equipment by performing the following duties.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Manage the Free/Reduced meal application process by distributing, processing, verifying, and
maintaining program applications. - Produce the monthly Claim for Reimbursement reports.
- Train food service clerks and cashiers on cash income procedures; evaluate and monitor
process. - Processes Financial Transfers and Refunds.
- Coordinate and Audit the Afterschool Snack Program
- Maintains updates for the national school lunch, school breakfast, and summer feeding
programs state application - Ensures negative balance communication with appropriate parties
- Must maintain knowledge of Point of Sale and Payment Systems (Myschoolbucks and Mosaic)
- Audits Myschoolbucks and Mosaic accounts regularly
- Communicates with administration & guardians regarding meal application processes, sunbucks,
and issues regarding student & adult accounts - Performs other related duties as assigned by administration and/or their designee.
- Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
