Starting Date - Immediate

Required Education - High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience - At least 2 years of experience

As a mechanical assembler, you will be responsible for building and assembly of pantographs and grounding units to precise tolerances and strict quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude, as well as the ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings and specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble all components and sub-assemblies for pantograph manufacturing.
  • Conduct thorough quality tests to ensure optimal product performance.
  • Maintain necessary inventory levels of component parts to optimize production efficiency and meet customer delivery deadlines.
  • Study assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists to gather required components, tools, and materials.
  • Operate overhead and jib cranes, as well as lift trucks, for product movement and assembly.
  • Coordinate assembly activities to meet customer and production schedules.
  • Utilize a variety of precision measuring instruments and gauging devices for quality control.
  • Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Perform general assembly tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize drill press or milling machine for part fitting as needed.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex assembly drawings and specifications.
  • One to three years of experience in assembly and technical skills.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and gauging devices.
