Responsibilities:

  • Collect and document patient data such as vital signs, complaints, medications, and allergies.
  • Administer medical services including injections, EKGs, procedures, and treatments as directed by physicians.
  • Coordinate and support safe patient transportation to and from medical appointments.
  • Assess risks to patient care, such as environmental and psychosocial issues, to identify needed services.
  • Provide necessary medical equipment and supplies to support patient care.
  • Coordinate pre-visit and follow-up preparations to ensure comprehensive preventative care.
  • Address patient questions about clinical services and provide relevant resources and information.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical procedures, EKG analysis, terminology, and safety regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with patient safety and transportation regulations.
  • Understand and adhere to state and federal policies, including HIPAA and scope of practice guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate, GED or equivalent
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience

Additional Information:

  • Location: Sebastian, FL
  • Job Type: contract to hire.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday - 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
  • Pay Range: $ 17.00 to 23.00/hour.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
