  • Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (or Clinical Fellowship year)
  • Preferred: Licensed as School Service Personnel with certification in SPED SP/LA preK-12 or Apprentice - Special Group
  • Job Expectations:
  • Therapy, evaluations, IEP development, progress report writing, and teacher consultation
  • Ability to perform any physical duties associated with this position (e.g., lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, sitting for long periods of time, walking or standing for extended periods of time, etc.)
  • Qualities of a Desired Candidate Include:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in the area of speech-language pathology
  • Strong recommendations of colleagues and supervisors
  • Strong time management skills, flexibility, and ability to work independently and problem solve
  • Ability to use data to guide instruction and engage students with various learning styles
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and team members
  • Positive communication and relationships with parents regarding therapy intervention
  • Understanding and use of technology to facilitate instruction and communication
  • Adhere to a high level of professional and ethical standards
  • Ability to demonstrate irreproachable loyalty to school, staff and administration

FLSA: Exempt (for SLP), Non-Exempt (for SLPA)
