Job Description:

  • Lead the development, integration, and testing of Trajectory Optimization and associated Guidance algorithms.
  • Define system performance studies to enhance capabilities.
  • Mentor and train new engineers to ensure efficient execution.
  • Interface with software engineers for integration and testing of real-time algorithms.
  • Present design details and analysis to stakeholders and customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with missile system performance analysis and simulations
  • Proficiency in Matlab, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design
  • Active U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Optimal Control theory and trajectory optimization methods
  • Experience with software formal qualification testing and real-time algorithm integration
  • Support of post-flight test data analysis
