About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of assigned projects, including the design and management of complex structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of structural systems for large and small projects
  • Make major design recommendations and decisions with minimal input from senior staff
  • Plan and assign design work to staff members, ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Review and approve correspondence prepared by junior staff
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality designs
Technical Expertise
  • Contribute to leadership in technical operations, providing guidance and expertise to team members
  • Analyze technical problems and provide written reports
  • Participate in project reviews to ensure quality control and adherence to company standards
  • Provide technical assistance to resolve field issues, visiting project sites as needed
Project Management
  • Effectively manage large and complex projects, or multiple smaller projects
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing proposals and presentations for clients
  • Consistently bring in new business and expand existing client relationships
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a Master's in Structural Engineering preferred
  • Professional Engineering license required, with Structural Engineering license preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of qualifying experience
  • Ability to travel up to 15% with occasional overnight stays
