Senior Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of assigned projects, including the design and management of complex structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and management of large and complex projects, including the supervision of junior engineers and technicians.
  • Make major design recommendations and decisions with minimal input from senior staff.
  • Plan and assign design work for projects of all sizes, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Review and approve correspondence prepared by junior staff, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Technical Path:
  • Contribute to leadership in technical operations, providing guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Analyze technical problems and write reports to resolve complex issues.
  • Play a significant role in project reviews for quality control, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Provide technical assistance to resolve field issues, visiting project sites as needed.
Project Management Path:
  • Effectively manage large and complex projects, including the supervision of junior engineers and technicians.
  • Identify prospective clients and assist in marketing efforts to develop new business.
  • Prepare proposals for services and participate in presentations to clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Masters in Structural Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Engineering license required.
  • Structural Engineering license preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of qualifying experience.
