As the Claims Quality Analyst, you will be reviewing all submitted claim for errors and investigate/ researched to determine the reason for the error and provide feedback for improving the process. As the Claims Quality Analyst, you will be reviewing claims history and will analyze date against the policy and regulations to identify potential issues. This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work a shift between our normal business hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm PST with weekend rotation. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. We offer 1 week of paid training. The hours of the training will be 8:00am – 5:00pm PST, Monday – Friday. *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Primary Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to our patients Arrange post discharge appointment within 7day protocol Responsible in creating authorization within 7day protocol ensure proper patient detail is entered Be able to work in a fast past environment with multiple duties on multiple software Be able to identify work priority while staying organized for prompts response in timely matter Consistently exhibits behaviors and communication skills that demonstrate Optum commitment to superior patient service, including quality, care and concern with and every internal and external patient Performs high level critical thinking for redirecting phone calls, auths ,and other issues that might arise Following departmental process and procedures Identify opportunities for process improvement Self-sufficient virtual environment Meets and exceeds productivity targets Uses, protect, and discloses Optum patient protected health information only in accordance with HIPPA standards Team player Perform other duties assigned You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
