Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Director by scheduling and coordinating meetings with the board of directors and committees.

  • Help with communications and social media to maintain and enhance the organization’s presence.

  • Work closely with the Executive Director of the WCA Foundation to bolster fundraising efforts and manage donor relations.

  • Accurately record and maintain gift and constituent information in the Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge/NXT database.

  • Assist in coordinating departmental workflows to ensure efficient resource development and productivity.

  • Commit to the WCA Foundation’s mission of supporting healthcare at UPMC Chautauqua through dedicated efforts.

  • Aid in organizing and managing fundraising events and donor engagement activities.

  • Generate and review reports on fundraising and donor information to support strategic decisions and improvements.

  • Experience in data systems, preferably donor software (Raiser's Edge/NXT) or other data base software

  • Analytical skills and ability to measure effective results to create meaningful reporting

  • Social media and communication skills with press releases, photos, website updates

  • Maturity and comfort with a variety of people that support the work of the WCA Foundation

  • Excellent writing skills and communication skills with the public

Required:

  • 2 years of experience working in customer service field

Preferred:

  • Associate degree
