As a Semiconductor Process and Device Engineer (CMOS, BCD, RF), you will play a crucial role in qualifying foundry PDKs, developing and validating SPICE models, and supporting product design and bring-up. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of cutting-edge semiconductor devices and processes, including leading-edge CMOS (FinFET, GAAFET), BCD technologies for power management, and RF devices for communication applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop test chips to characterize semiconductor processes (30%)
  • Qualify foundry-provided SPICE models using test chip data (30%)
  • Develop in-house SPICE models where foundry models are insufficient (10%)
  • Support product design, bring-up, tool qualification, and collaborate with foundry/EDA partners (30%)

Required Qualifications:

  • PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or related field (preferred)
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor device physics across a range of devices (CMOS, bipolar, LDMOS, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with SPICE modeling and model qualification
  • Strong knowledge of RF/microwave theory, electromagnetics, and semiconductor manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in scripting and data analysis
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to extract insights from empirical device data and connect theory to real-world behavior

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with leading-edge CMOS processes (FinFET, GAAFET)
  • Familiarity with BCD technologies for power management
  • RF device expertise to support communication product development
