About this Position

The Distribution Worker will work at the Primerica Printing & Distribution. The Printing & Distribution center is located in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The Distribution Worker fills and packs cost or non-cost orders for prompt shipment and collates printed material for distribution projects. The role must be able to collate various printed material, with attention to detail and accuracy. They will also perform kit assembly with multiple items as well as other special projects that require speed, ability to count accurately and to multi-task. Perform Detailed Kit assembly

Salary is $31k

Shift: Mon - Fri 8:00am - 4:30pm

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Fills and packs orders for shipment to agents, clients and the home office, or collates printed material for distribution projects
  • Pulls printed material according to order form to complete requested order
  • Compares identifying information and quantities on packing slip against the purchase order, counts items for verification, and corrects any discrepancies
  • Collects and organizes printed material necessary to complete collating projects
  • Ensures material is assembled in the correct format
  • Boxes orders and wraps materials to secure items for shipment
  • Moves boxed orders to shipping area for logging and loading
  • Stocks warehouse with printed materials used
  • Removes outdated material to maintain current material to fill orders
  • Maintain clean work area, sweeping, dusting of warehouse etc.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • High school diploma or equivalent business experience
  • General knowledge of warehouse procedures
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy is a must.
