ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement sales strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices for the sales team Monitor and continuously improve metrics focused on revenue, sales velocity, and closing ratios Manage the contractual process Establish good working relationships with lenders, realtors, and other business-related organizations Inspect and evaluate communities, models, and speculative homes Establish departmental objectives, goals, and budgets annually and conduct operations within guidelines Support New Home Consultants with meeting their sales goals, problem solving and training/growth Maintain high-level product knowledge of AVB floor plans, available home sites, features, pricing, and communities QUALIFICATIONS [Experience or education in residential design, architecture, construction, or related fields preferred but not required]{#isPasted} [Proven sales leadership experience required]{#isPasted} Ability to work some evening and weekend hours as needed Experience with social networking including navigation of websites Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in, or the ability to become proficient in GKAR Multiple Listing Program and AVB specifications program PHYSICAL DEMANDS The work environment described here represents what the employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This position requires construction site walk-throughs which may include navigating uneven terrain and unfinished homes.
