Description Provides psychosocial assessment and delivery of counseling, social work and emotional support services to terminally-ill patients, and/or palliative services to patients and their families. Works as a team member to identify problems and assist patient/family members in exploring realistic options, decision making and problem solving. Graduate from an accredited school preferred or Ph.D. in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling. Graduate from an accredited school preferred. Coursework/Training: Training in family counseling and case management. Upon hire: California Clinical Social Worker License or California Marriage and Family Therapist License 1 year Experience in a health care setting or related field. Why Join Providence?
