Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed network designs in areas of switching, routing, IPv4 & IPv6, multicast, VRFs, VPNs, and MPLS.
  • Design secure networks to maximize router and switch utilization.
  • Analyze and resolve traffic congestion issues.
  • Establish data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor network performance and maintain relevant logs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on technical solutions.
  • Uphold company values and ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements:
  • CCNP certification or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a communications service provider setting.
  • Proficiency in MPLS, VPN, VRF, and QoS deployment and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of Layer 2 functions and switching.
  • Experience with Cisco equipment; familiarity with Juniper and Palo Alto is a plus.
  • Expertise in OSPF and BGP routing protocols.
  • Familiarity with network scripting languages is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
