We are looking for a skilled and proactive Network Administrator (Level 2). In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement, and security of our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation in network operations, a problem-solving mindset, and the flexibility to address critical issues outside of regular hours when required.
We value exceptional communication abilities, as you will be explaining complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Collaboration across teams and departments will be integral to troubleshooting challenges, ensuring high network performance, and driving improvements in security and reliability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Network Management: Design, implement, and monitor network systems to maximize efficiency and uptime.
- Problem Resolution: Quickly diagnose and resolve network issues to minimize business disruptions.
- Disaster Recovery: Develop, refine, and maintain robust network recovery strategies.
- Security Enhancements: Proactively address vulnerabilities and optimize network security measures.
- User Support: Provide technical assistance to users experiencing network-related problems.
- Infrastructure Configuration: Manage and optimize network security tools, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed technical records, including network diagrams, policies, and troubleshooting guides.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and systems.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize tools like OpManager, SolarWinds, and Wireshark to monitor network health and meet performance benchmarks.
- Technology Advancement: Stay informed about the latest networking technologies and recommend updates or new solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in network administration, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Networking Knowledge: Proficiency in protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, and VLANs.
- Hardware Proficiency: Experience with Cisco or Palo Alto networking equipment.
- Security Focus: Strong understanding of firewall configurations, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust principles.
- Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as OpManager, Wireshark, and SolarWinds.
- OS Experience: Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Linux (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu), and VMware/ESXi virtualization.
- Cloud Networking: Experience integrating with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Experience: At least 4 years in a network administration role.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
Preferred Skills and Certifications:
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
- Certifications in Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN, CloudGenix ION, and Prisma Access
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- Engineering Cisco Meraki Solutions (ECMS)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate
- AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
