We are seeking an Epic Application Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will implement, support, and lead the integrated solutions for application and data integration managed by Information Services (IS). Success in this role includes providing expert application and technical support to ensure that applications are optimally planned, documented, validated, adhere to standards, and maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports diverse and cross platform systems environments supporting critical business and clinical applications
  • Collaborate with business and clinical operations to obtain and create workflow documentation of current application use
  • Perform expert analysis of systems compatibility and configure in accordance with operation and technical requirements
  • Partner with members of IS teams, project teams, affiliate teams, and vendor representatives to develop complex specifications for assigned areas
  • Coordinate and communicate with various levels of management and staff including business, clinical, and IS departments while assisting with technical aspects of routine product implementation, rollout, and support
  • Collaborate with counterparts on related project teams to incorporate their test scripts into integrated project plan that includes testing scripts
  • Obtain and document software design changes and enhancement specifications
  • Participate in and lead the installation and configuration of applications
  • Ensure that all appropriate validation is completed in conjunction with the application owner
  • Maintain overall system functionality and effectiveness including troubleshooting and recovery
  • Review and manage various system log files, error reports, alert audit logs, and security access logs

Requirements:
  • 3+ years recent relevant experience i
  • Bachelor's: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent education/experience
  • Expert knowledge of data and application development lifecycle methodologies
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations and structure
  • Working knowledge of Health Level 7 (HL7) and Extensible Markup Language (XML)
  • Advanced understanding of Epic build knowledge
  • ServiceNow experience is a plus
  • Epic Grand Central certification required
  • ADT certification required
