Purpose of Position

Our Quality Assurance Specialist will help our Quality Control Manager and Assistant Manager with pre-shipment review and document record review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-shipment record review
  • Finished Product releases.
  • Quality Control Daily records review
  • Maintain Record Reviews and make them available during Audits.
  • New products supporting data collection and statistics
  • Help with the Quality Assurance team as needed, preparing audits, calibrations.
  • Maintain relation with client/customer in relation to specifications and documents
  • Cross collaboration with R&D on updating recipes and formulas
  • Help with customer complaint investigations
  • Support new project implementations
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance of food manufacturing
  • Certification(s): HACCP and BRC
  • Other Requirements include Basic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry
  • Technology Experience: Shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint systems, JDE and Outlook
  • Multi-task and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player and organized
  • Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency
