Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Shipment Record Review: Assess and verify records to ensure all standards are met before shipment.
- Finished Product Releases: Oversee and approve finished product releases, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Daily Records Review: Review daily quality control records to maintain accuracy and compliance.
- Record Maintenance: Organize and maintain records to ensure they are readily available for audits.
- Data Collection & Statistics: Support data collection and statistical analysis for new products.
- Audit Preparation: Assist the Quality Assurance team with audit preparations and calibrations.
- Client/Customer Relations: Maintain communication with clients/customers regarding specifications and documentation.
- R&D Collaboration: Work with R&D on updating recipes and formulas as needed.
- Customer Complaint Investigations: Assist in investigating and resolving customer complaints.
- Project Support: Aid in the implementation of new projects.
- Additional Duties: Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Experience: 1-2 years in Quality Assurance within the food manufacturing industry.
- Certifications: HACCP and BRC certified.
- Knowledge: Basic principles of microbiology, biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry.
- Technology Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JDE, and Outlook.
- Skills: Strong multi-tasking, leadership, and organizational skills. Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Traits: Team player with strong mathematical aptitude and analytical proficiency.
