POSITION OBJECTIVE

As a Supplier Quality Management Analyst, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the procurement of superior products and services from our vendors. You will engage in comprehensive vendor management and coordination throughout all phases of the business relationship. This includes overseeing pre-screening or qualification processes and negotiating advantageous terms and pricing. You will facilitate onboarding and initial account setups, introduce direct account representatives, manage contract and invoice processing, and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive relationship. Additionally, you will guide and implement high-level vendor management strategies and policies.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish, execute, and uphold quality assurance protocols.
  • Enhance the efficiency of current organizational processes and procedures to strengthen the internal capacity of the organization.
  • Pursue strategic and operational goals actively.
  • Support Strategic Enhancements by soliciting feedback from various departments and vendors to develop and refine strategies that maximize vendor value. This may involve renegotiating terms, introducing new performance metrics, or changing vendors when necessary, ensuring the relationship remains dynamic and continuously improving.
  • Drive ongoing, measurable improvements and efficiencies based on data analysis.
  • Maintain daily logs that detail vendor activities.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure that operational activities are completed on schedule and within budgetary constraints.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science or business is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Vendor Management, particularly in the food sector.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
  • Exemplary attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively guide and manage negotiations.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Team-oriented with the capability to work independently.
  • High levels of self-motivation and discipline.
  • Excellent time management, presentation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
