The Sub Acute Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for a wide range of patient care activities under the supervision of registered nursing personnel. Duties include medication administration, patient examinations, assistance with procedures and treatments, and vital signs monitoring. Collabrates with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and well-being. Maintains clean and safe environment while adhering to infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance. Empathizes with patients and demonstrates cultural sensitivity. Participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Active, current, and unencumbered Licensure as a Vocational Nurse in the State of California
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Vocational Nursing or its equivalent
- AHA Basic Life Support
- IV Certification
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to maintain flexibility and composure in a constantly changing environment
- Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City Employees only)
Pay Rate: Min - $30.63 | Max - $41.14
