Stillwater Post-Acute is a distinguished 256-bed Skilled Nursing Facility specializing in Post-Acute Rehabilitation. Our comprehensive care services encompass Wound Care, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a compliant and supportive environment.
Position Overview:
This full-time role operates from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with flexible scheduling options. As the Nursing Supervisor for the Sub-Acute unit, you will oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise nursing activities within the Sub-Acute unit, ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines.
2. Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage nursing functions and coordinate services for residents.
3. Maintain current nursing policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect daily practices.
4. Prepare written and oral reports for the Director regarding unit operations.
5. Develop and implement strategies to ensure continuity of care for residents.
6. Participate in the Quality Assurance plan for the nursing department and assist in facility inspections.
7. Oversee resident admission, transfer, and discharge processes as necessary.
Qualifications:
