About the Role:

Heartland’s eCommerce business has grown substantially over the last 5 years and we are looking for a Retail Media Account Manager to join our expanding team. This role will be focused on owning search and retail media for the Splenda brand across grocery retail media networks with a focus on Amazon. This role will report to the National Account Manager, Amazon, and work in collaboration with Heartland’s marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:

Amazon Advertising

  • Strategize, implement, maintain and optimize advertising campaigns through Amazon’s Seller Central and Vendor Central accounts including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display Advertising
  • Own relationship with Amazon’s Ads team
  • Coordinate with Heartland’s marketing team to promote sales on Amazon through social media campaigns, email marketing campaigns and incorporating Amazon into master brand marketing strategies
  • Implement A/B testing to refine ad copy, creative, and targeting parameters for maximum effectiveness
  • Track spend and manage a large advertising budget
Other Retail Media Networks
  • Develop and execute retail media strategies across other key networks like Instacart and Criteo
  • Manage ad budgets for each retail media network
Data Analytics
  • Use data analytics tools like Helium10, Profitero and Amazon’s Brand Analytics reports to conduct keyword research, competitor research and general market research for each retail media network
  • Use data analytics tools to track and improve keyword ranking and share of sales
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and growth opportunities
  • Develop actionable insights to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and advertising campaigns
  • Report on marketing performance to broader team and continually improve reporting methods
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience with Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • At least 1 year of experience in managing retail media sponsored ads
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, online conversion, SEO and campaign optimization
  • Familiarity with Amazon tools like Brand Analytics and Helium10
  • Entrepreneurial self-starter with growth mindset
  • Detail oriented with good project management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills and proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel: pivot tables, vlookups etc.)
