Our client, a cloud computing platform, is looking to hire a Technical Support Technician to join their data center team in Sterling, VA.

***This is a 3 month contract to hire role***

What You'll Do:

  • Provides support to end users on a variety of issues.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

Skills:

  • Associate's' Degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair
  • Replacing parts, swapping out hardware
  • Open to hobby building, like computers and cars etc.
  • High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred:

  • Experience in networking(will learn more)
  • Experience working in a Data Center environment Understanding of network design, protocols and troubleshooting
  • Understanding of storage devices
  • Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system
