Summary:
The Marketing Manager is part of Lutheran Senior Services' Marketing and Communications department and facilitates and executes the strategic marketing plans, delivering positive results for the marketing pipeline and overall goals while keeping all parties informed. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and initiative, be an efficient communicator that focuses on relationship building, has strong copy writing skills, can present ideas and concepts to stakeholders, and bring new marketing ideas to fruition. This hybrid role will have some travel and needs to be based in the St. Louis area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops trusted advisor relationships with team members, stakeholders and executive sponsors, becoming a subject matter expert for the assigned areas of business.
- Leads meetings around current projects and tactics, shares reporting from various sources, solicits feedback.
- Facilitates discussion and the creation of projects between all stakeholders and the Marketing and Communication Team
- Creates concepts and copy for digital and print materials, working alongside the design team on the creation of new and revised pieces.
- Ensures the timely and successful delivery of marketing plans and pieces.
- Clearly communicates the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to stakeholders.
- Strategizes alongside teams to plan and execute events, including lead generating and referral events.
- Secures contracts and placements as needed with media outlets and vendors, including local newspapers and magazines, outdoor advertisement, and digital placements.
- Communicates and supports projects that utilize third party vendors for photography, videography, and production alongside Marketing and Communications team members.
- Assists in creating marketing budgets and making adaptations throughout the year based on marketing and sales needs.

- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in marketing
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing
- Leading with innovation, creativity, and organization with marketing strategies that utilize best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines with sharp attention to detail
- Excellent speaking, writing, and presentation skills alongside interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of print and digital methods including website development, SEO, PPC, and SEM as well as integration of marketing activities with CRM and MAP software
- Proficient with project management systems and the Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
