Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are looking for Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our growing team in Tracy location. We offer a diverse caseload ranging from infants to 18 years in multidisciplinary clinic. Knowledge of sensory integration a plus. Occupational Therapy Assistant License (Required). Job Description:

  • COTA will provide therapy under OTR supervision.
  • COTA contributes to evaluation process by reporting observations, current level of functioning, impairment and gathering of related data.
  • Communicates and collaborates with other professionals and families.
  • Provides documentation and maintains files of patients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities 
  • Read, understand, and follow all plans of care and therapy laid out for patients under your care
  • Assist patients with using adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and learning basic life skills
  • Assist Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed
  • Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used on a daily basis
  • Attend care plans for patients, provide input, and go over patient care plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes 
Qualifications
  • Current state licensing for occupational therapy assistance required
  • Previous experience working in an occupational therapy setting desired
  • Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • The ability to make decisions in a high-stress environment
