Job Title: Records Analyst

Reports To: The Records Analyst Associate will report to the Records Operations Supervisor, Client Service Manager, or equivalent leadership.

Job Overview:
This position will support the records administration program under direction of the site Records Administration Supervisor. Coordinate efforts with records team(s) at all client locations.
Location: Portland, ME; Chattanooga, TN; Columbia, SC

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversight of Preservation Exception Request administrative responsibilities; ensure timely processing of client requisitions within ServiceNow.
• Administer and coordinate physical record destruction process for records team under direction of supervisor; data collection, report distribution, and destruction practices.
• Maintain documentation and capture metrics for client reporting.
• Enhance and maintain client enterprise records management platform; support client testing and enhancements and ensure data continuity.
• Supports the organization's life-cycle of information, including the creation, use, maintenance, retrieval, storage and destruction of information.
• Ensure compliance with clients records and information management policies and procedures.
• Develop, deliver, and maintain training presentations and materials on records and information management policies and practices.
• Collaborate with various departments to locate and retrieve records as needed.
• Participate in special projects related to records and information management.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Competencies:
• Demonstrated proficiency in analyzing data, problem identification and resolution, and ability to generate clear, concise reports indicating key issues.
• Strong data management skills
• Proven customer service, negotiation, and training skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent computer skills including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail, ability to adapt quickly to change, and make accurate business decisions.
• Experience in records and information management or related fields.
• Ability to use organization Records & Information Management (RIM) applications.
• Ability to partner with other departments, such as legal, Information Technology, Privacy, Compliance, Internal Audit, and other business areas.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Bachelor's degree or knowledge of records and information management disciplines, professional certifications preferred.
• Experience with document management and content management applications, 3-5 years.
• Management of processes and projects involving analysis, reporting, and follow-up.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications, with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals and personalities at all levels.
Physical Demands:
• Ability to endure exposure to dust and varied environmental conditions.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and/or sit for an extended period.
• Manual dexterity required for performing standard office duties (grasping, pinching, pulling, keying, etc.).
• Ability to frequently lift and or move 40 lbs. or greater.
