What You'll Do:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of commercial loan investment opportunities for middle market and capital markets transactions
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of financial accounting and its application in commercial credit underwriting
  • Utilize strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to evaluate complex credits and commercial loan packages
  • Prepare and present credit memos to approval committees, providing clear and concise recommendations

  • Assist in the placement of loans during the syndication process, providing information to potential participants and addressing questions
  • Lead projects and initiatives to drive business growth and improve credit underwriting processes

What You'll Need:

  • A minimum of 4-year college degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or business
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A flexible schedule and ability to work in a hybrid remote environment
