This role will monitor and track healthcare associated infections, antibiotic utilization, immunizations, and occupational health. Play an integral role as a member of the nurse management team making key decisions in resident care and management of staff. Member of the antibiotic stewardship and quality assurance improvement committees. Oversee the immunization program by monitoring, tracking, and reporting on healthcare associated infections and antibiotic use. Utilize your critical thinking skills to lead, assess, plan, and implement educational programs based on the needs of the facility staff and residents. Conduct infection control surveillance activities and audits to recommend infection control practices. Requirements: Active and unrestricted RN license or LPN with management experience.
